• Home in need of some serious TLC

  The front door was clearly broken and repaired poorly- it requires great deal of effort to align the deadbolt for locking/unlocking.

  The place is musty and dirty- there's a solid 1/4 inch of dust on the wood ledges and spiderwebs hanging from the ceilings, and there are several dehumidifiers working at capacity. The carpets show visible stains- even the throw rugs in the bathroom that could easily be tossed- I don't understand why they would leave them there?? The towels had a sour smell mixed with heavy perfume scent to them- like they were left in the washer too long and then sprayed with perfume to cover the mustiness.This place desperately needs a deep clean.

  -The front door is equipped with an electronic lock, and the next guest did not experience any issues with it upon check-in. Occasionally, guests may need some assistance with operating the electronic lock, but the door itself was fully functional and did not require any repairs.
  
  -We have not received any prior complaints about mustiness in the home. The property is thoroughly cleaned after each stay, and a deep clean is scheduled every other month to maintain high standards. As the homeowner, we offered to send the cleaning team over to address any concerns, but the offer was declined.
  
  -The towels are laundered with Tide detergent, and there are no added perfumes. We made an offer to send someone to address any concerns and ensure the towels met your expectations, but unfortunately, the assistance was declined. We are always eager to resolve any issues promptly and ensure that our guests have a comfortable stay.
  
  -Upon check-out, the throw rugs were inspected, and any stains found appeared to be recent and attributable to your stay. The rugs are regularly checked and replaced as needed. When cleanliness concerns arise, we ask that guests provide proof or confirmation of the issue so we can promptly address and resolve it.

  Property was nice. Lots of traffic in and out of shared driveway. Large trailer was parked outside of kitchen window. Weather wasn’t great and the water was very muddy from remnants of Helene.
