• Beautiful Summit Views

  Our whole family had a wonderful stay at Summit house. The views were amazing! We enjoyed the hot tub, pool, movie theater, and all the game tables in the rec areas as well. Everyone loved having their own private on-suite bathroom. The house was close enough to all the major attractions, yet private and peaceful as a place to return to at the end of seeing all those busy tourist stops. Would love to stay again, but no dates are available well into 2029??!

  *There were a few things that would have made our stay better... we paid to heat the pool, but it was really only warm one night (after a call to the maintenance to address it) and as a prior visitor noted, the overflow pool below was still green and needed tending. There still were no pot holders, so we bought some and left them for the next visitor. We also bought liquid hand soaps for some of the bathrooms, as none was supplied. Some of the rugs, especially the one in the bedroom with pool entry, were stained and desperately needed cleaning. We also left additional dishwashing pods, laundry detergent and fab softener for the next guests... since barely any was on site.

  We swept the uppermost deck so we could enjoy it, LOTS of bugs and debris. *We also paid a "pet fee" for my service dog... but learned later that wasn't necessary. Better instruction on this things maybe?

  Over-all a few minor tweaks and this would be the absolute perfect house. ⛰️♥️

• Property needs a handyman

  So much potential for this house if a little work was done. Let’s start with the positives… location, view, size of house, beautiful windows looking out to the mountains, peaceful area, several gaming areas for kids, and beautiful theatre room, plenty of towels provided, washer and dryer was fine. We saw a bear the first night right by the deck. The outdoor seating was nice and great for eating outside.

  Every room needs attention.

  The entire house needs a need clean.

  Bathrooms: where are the towel bars, some didn’t have a toilet paper holder, the one toilet didn’t have the water turned on, another toilet felt like it was going through the floor when you sat down, the fan in the one bathroom tripped the power if on too long, the over the toilet cabinets were falling apart.

  Bedrooms: light bulbs need changed, the bed in the first room to the right was so creaky it woke up my kid.

  Pool: we had to call to get it cleaned. The filter wasn’t on and it definitely needed shocked. I didn’t get in until the 3rd day because of this. The main door to the pool was super hard to open. So difficult that we ended up using the door from the one bedroom. The stairs out to the pool need some TLC.

  The bottom, nonswimming water was green and not like the pictures online.

  Kitchen - everything worked fine. No potholders. The freezer needs cleaned.

  The area around the house could use weeding and cleaned up. The houses around it looked so much more manicured.

  Parking was great for 2 vehicles. You’d have to block vehicles in if you parked in the side lot.

  The upstairs outdoor area had flooring that isn’t meant for outside. Super warped.

  Overall we were fine but many little things could have been done to improve the rental.

  We come down from Ohio every year and this by far was the best property we stayed at. The endless views, quiet neighborhood, and beautiful home made us feel right at home.
