5/5 This place is a perfect family get away. Spacious rooms. Great views. Well stocked. Comfy beds. Has everything you need for a family to have a nice relaxing stay.
Restful, harmonious retreat!
5/5 Everything you could ever want. Inspired by the surroundings, this home - both inside and out - looks as if every aspect was meant to blend in naturally. If you need to relax, this is your spot. And just TRY to drive past the entrancing view just steps up the hill from this peaceful retreat. I dare you! I had to stop every single time we went to town! It was a joy to stay here. The serene, tranquil atmosphere was exactly what we needed.
Much needed Getaway!
5/5 This home is wonderful! It’s secluded without close neighbors, overlooking a lake. The wooded area had deer and turkeys coming up in the yard in the evening. Spacious, like new. Plenty of room to have time alone to read and relax. Also played board games in front of the fire (gas logs which were safe, clean and instant). We had so much fun. The stars were brighter since we were away from the city lights. Now for the bad part…We were so sad that our time there was over. Can’t wait to go back and stay longer.

Hi Ryan, we’re sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We're disappointed to hear your feedback, we strive to provide our guests with a 5-star experience. We apologize that you were kept awake by noises. We immediately hired a professional pest control company as we believed there to be an issue with squirrels getting into the roof, no evidence was found but there were mouse droppings found under the sink, a normal happening in most houses right as winter or the cold sets in. This explains why we have the mouse traps as a further preventative. To be confident we hired a second professional pest control company and have since had confirmation from the pest control company that it was a false alarm and the noises heard were most likely from the branches of the trees sweeping on the roof. No evidence was found of nesting squirrels or any animal in the gutters or inside of the ceiling. We will continue with our regular pest control treatment and continue to keep our home pest free.
We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
