  Check in and contact with the property manager were excellent. The road to the house is very winding, par for the area, however the last 1/8 mile was unpaved, rutted and rough. If it would have just rained it would have been a muddy mess I believe. We stayed on the main floor of the 2 unit house. The view from the deck is amazing and deck furniture is comfortable to enjoy that view. Inside was very clean and comfortable. We would suggest USB power stations in the living room and bedrooms. Overall a great stay even though we had to cut our stay short for medical issues. This residence is not ADA accessible but that was not an issue for us. FYI for other future guests.

• Norris Lake 2023

  This is a brand new very nice home with all new appliances. The Lake view was spectacular! We had daily visits from young deer and the neighbor’s hummingbirds were fun to watch. We were boating all day everyday. The marinas had great food and fun. The covered dock was very nice. We had one question for the owners about the lock and they immediately responded. FYI you can’t take your boat to the house there is no where to turn around. The marina staff was very nice, the ramp wide.

• Weekend getaway!!

  The lake cottage is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway. The view is gorgeous and the cottage is clean, comfortable and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends.

• Cute place, good location

  Great little place. We had 4 adults and would not want to put any more than that in there. Good Location, Furnished Well, Clean. The master bed was great. Walking back up to the property after a day on the boat, felt like I was back in St Thomas crawling up the mountain to the condo. It would be useful if given the option to rent a golf cart or side by side with the condo. You think oh it would be lazy to do that, but trust me after the first day - it is the best idea! Watch the steps coming down the stairs - the lady with us broke her toe falling down the stairs in the middle of the night (sober). Someone at one of the marinas told us you could see the fireworks from Deerfield - inaccurate ;) A few very small issues: Trash was almost full outside and lots of gnats when we got there and there were HUGE (in my mind) spiders all over the balcony, they contacted me twice about a boat that was parked in the wrong spot wanting to know if it was ours...I get once but when I say it isn't us, was it really necessary to send a pic and ask me if I was sure it wasn't our boat? The boat was from Kentucky, we are not - just thought it was silly to continue to bug us about that. - Overall, it was a great, peaceful trip. Would stay again. and bring my spider spray!

  Really enjoyed our week + at this VRBO rental. Melissa was great to work with and provided all the needed information quickly. Location on lake is perfect for so many different activities and the view was awesome.
