  We arrived to find the fireplace did not work. The cabin owner knew the fireplace did not work but did not tell us prior to arrival. He sent someone on our last day in the cabin. No discount or consideration was given. The loft shower has a disgusting shower curtain with red colored mold at the bottom and the area around the shower has water damage. The back deck used to have a hot tub buthat has been removed however the deck was not stained/painted in this area. It just looks like a cheap/quickly done hot tub removal with drainage tubes still there. There is not enough storage for trash and we had to call for trash to be picked up. Poor lighting in this cabin. At night, the inside of the cabin was very dim.Nenoughstained

  Hi Lindsey, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip.
  
  We found out about the fireplace issue the night before you arrived, and there was nothing that could be done because it needed to be worked on by an expert. We tried to explain this to you and let you know we could not get someone out until Friday morning. You were not satisfied with that answer so no one was scheduled however, you did change your mind and we had someone out and they fixed the issue on Friday morning.
  
  We did speak to Evolve and came up with an amount to refund but we could not accept a 100% refund which we felt was unfair.
  
  There are 2 large trash cans outside in the bear-proof container with a container in the house. We did have the cleaners out on Friday to pick up the trash because it was full.
  
  We inspect and replace the shower curtains regularly and I the owner do periodic inspections to ensure everything is in good order. We have found no water damage in any of the bathrooms.
  
  We did have a hot tub on the back deck and we tried to match the stain but could not without it looking bad so we have decided to replace the hot tub in the near future.
  
  Regarding the lighting, we provide instructions on the lighting. It explains that they can make the brightness on the lighting on the remote controls for each light. There is also a floor lamp for additional lighting located by the hanging chair.
  
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

  The cabin was spacious and so very clean! Each room was comfortable and beautiful. We had a small problem when we checked in that was taken care of immediately. Very much appreciated.

  Location was close to everything and just enough out of the way to not be a hassle.

• An Easy Getaway

  The property was perfect getaway for my wife, three kids, and me. Everything was clean and as expected with good internet and parking right by the building. The pool was closed for the season.

• Long weekend

  The property was as described. Plenty of room for a family of 7. We had both of our elderly parents with us so the bedroom locations were fantastic. One bedroom on the main floor and just a few steps for the upstairs bedroom. Kitchen had everything we needed. Close to Gatlinburg, just a few miles and Pigeon Forge- yet off the main roads so you don’t have all the traffic.would stay again!
