Understated the description of needing to climb
3/5 The property is on the side of an extremely steep slope. The driveway to get up & down to the property is hazardous. It is so steep & has lots of loose gravel on top of asphalt. It made it hard to walk up & down & in fact my husband fell. He stepped on some gravel & it was like trying to stand on marbles & he just slipped. It was a true thigh workout to climb up & down.
There was a lot of trash laying outside in the driveway, around the house & in the parking space - paper plates, plastic forks, used aluminum foil, water bottles & beer cans.
The front door handle was broken prior to our arrival. The owner was aware & said they would fix it after we left. The handle wouldn’t stay on. You had to hold it in place to operate the door.
If we had seen how steep & gravelly the driveway was, we wouldn’t have rented here. Lots of steep roads & one lane roads to get to the cabin. We had to back up to let other vehicles pass as there’s no room for 2 cars wide. Not quite what we expected.
