5/5 We had a great comfortable stay the house was very nice. Beautiful view overlooking the watauga River. We will be back.

2/5 Celeste was who I was to contact when there was a problem. I texted her the morning after we arrived because I was up until 11:00 PM drying and folding laundry that was left in the dryer, it was over filled with towels and bed linens. The lint trap was full and could have started a fire. There were not enough towels for 4 adults and 1child because the dryer was not working properly. She told me a technician was going to look at it, but no one came while we were there. The garage can in the outside utility room smelled so terribly bad, she said she would come by and clean it which never happened. The tub with the jets was dirty and had hair in it, we had to clean it before it could be used. The dishwasher was not properly installed, the refrigerator did not have water lines hooked up to make ice or dispense water. The beds mattress and pillows had stains, were old and musky smelling. There was dust and dirt on door facings, window sills, behind and under tables, dressers and TV’s. I had to wash all the pots, pans and cooking utensils before I could use them.The view was the only thing that was nice. Don’t come with the expectation of fishing with out a boat or hiring a guide as most of the property is private or very hard to get to, or a distance away from the unit.I owned and operated a cleaning service for years and this would never passed my inspection. I’m not sure if anyone checks on the cleaning service but maybe they should. Not worth the money we paid!

Wonderful location!
5/5 This property worked very well for my family. The location is great, the unit was cleaned thoroughly and was quite comfortable. There was a mix up at check-in, but the site manager has now corrected everything. We would return to this unit.

5/5 After a small mix up which was eventually rectified, we had a wonderful stay in this home. The location is great and the home is very cozy and comfortable. The place was very clean and we would return.

5/5 Property was beautiful, great view of the lake. Lake access/swimming access is kind of difficult to find around this lake. Additionally, not many restaurants around. Property itself was nice though.
