• Amazing, Peaceful, Wonderful, Grand, Perfect

  There are no words to describe the absolutely amazing qualities of this property. We have rented VRBO's all over the world, literally; and this home did not disappoint. From the minute you drive up, you know and realize that this is a home that has been cared for and loved. Every detail of care is seen throughout the entire property. The landscaping is superb and offers many opportunities to sit back, relax and soak up the beautiful South Dakota weather and atmosphere. The interior lacks nothing. The details of someone who truly loves the home and the area are evident in every aspect of decoration. From the moment we requested our booking, till the minute our plane landed, the hosts, Kay and Joe, made sure that we were comfortable and at peace. The check in process was seamless. The house inviting. The area, perfect. This home is located just 5 minutes from Safeway and 10 minutes from main street downtown. This being said, while in the home and on the property, you feel as though you are miles away from any city life. The property has the feel of being secluded in your own dream world. We loved the fact that the amenities of town were so close, but yet so far away. When we were looking for a place to stay for our trip to Mt. Rushmore and the surrounding areas, we looked at many other homes. We looked in Keystone, Sturgis and Deadwood. Thankfully, we found this beautiful home. All of the above destinations are within about a 30 minute drive from the home. None of the above destinations could have come close to the perfection of this home. As we visited these areas, I looked around to compare and was never disappointed in my choice of this property. I was actually very glad that we had not chosen to stay in any of the busier areas as they appeared to be quite touristy. Touristy was not the vibe we wanted. We wanted the rural yet close in feel, which we got! I will tell everyone I know about this home and suggest that they rent it when they visit Mt Rushmore and the Black Hills.

  This was a great stay. The property managers were very accessible, reached out to make sure we were ready for our stay and again to make sure everything was as we needed. Great location. Made vacation with 5 kiddos very enjoyable!

• Home away from home...

  Everything we expected and more. Hospitality was fabulous and Kay thought of all possible needs to make the home complete. There was a welcome snack basket, fully stocked cabinets, appliances you expect at home, kids games inside and out, laundry supplies, and much more that caused us to not even think of anything we may be missing, including a great massaging recliner. Location is also in close proximity to city restaurants and a great home base to Rapid City, Keystone, Spearfish, & Deadwood. Nice quiet neighborhood and sweet deer visitors right in the street and yard at dusk. Our family had a great time and only wished we did less sight seeing so we could've enjoyed the home more than we were able to with out packed itinerary. Great hosts and Kay was very accessible and responsive when needed. We definitely recommend this home and hosts. If we return in the future, it will be our home base again. Thanks for making our stay spectacular.

• Beautiful, Comfortable and All you would want!

  Our stay in this lovely home was just perfect. We couldn't of asked for a better host who helped us with so many things and was alway just a close text away. The home was so comfortable and in a great location for all that we did in the area. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

  Great property manager who checked in a few days before and just after we arrived. Had everything we needed. Beautiful house. Great location. Family friendly!
