The Little Sundance cabin was very satisfactory. The cabin was decorated and stocked excellently with everything we needed. We would definetly stay again.

We enjoyed our stay! The house was super cute and was in a quiet & relaxing spot! We loved the deck for our morning coffee. Our kids loved the 5 puppies! Hosts were very kind!

  • Very peaceful cabin on private property

    5/5

This tiny home/ cabin is great for families that are traveling and wanting to see and do all the stuff nearby. It was close enough to go do all the black hills stuff each day and yet far enough out that we saw wildlife each evening returning to the cabin. They really maximize the space and we just sat outside to enjoy breakfast each morning on the deck. It is very quiet and peaceful and the owners are on-site so available if anything is needed which was nice! They breed Corgi puppies too so my son absolutely loved being able to see the puppies and all the dogs on the property. If you don't mind being a little bit away from custer state park (less than 30 minutes) this is a great rental on private property.

Overall happy with the rental. There is absolutely no where to store your gear and clothing. Not sure how sleeping in the bunk beds would work, itwas just my wife and I, but it doesn't look easy. A little dangerousmaybe? The deck steps are not what you might say standard and it gets a little dicey especially at night. Be careful in the driveway, the grade is a bit steep in places and maneuveringat night can also be a challenge, bring a flash light. I would not recommend for elderly or anyone with mobility issues. There are dogs in the immediate area and they have a yapping fest during the daylight hours but the didn't bark at night. But if your young with a couple of kids maybe, this place would be fine but just remember, no storage inside for anything substantial. We laid our clothes out on the second bunk along with cell phones and such. Left the suit cases in the car.We slept sideways on the bottom bunk so we could both get out, you'll see. The bunks are against the wall so it was mucheasier. The people were very nice and accommodating.
