  Stayed right after thanksgiving with my wife's family. Plenty of space, great amenities, and awesome place to have family together for a long weekend or relaxing time.

  The area was beautiful and serene. The house was beautiful as well. Unfortunately, the house was not clean. The oven and fridge were pretty nasty. They offered to send someone to clean the fridge but we stopped by the store on our way in so we had to wipe the fridge ourselves before putting our stuff away in it. You could tell the place was not vacuumed or swept. The pillow in one of the bedrooms on level 1 had several brown stains, luckily I took my own pillow case. There was popcorn under the coffee table. The deck was full of dead bugs and spider webs. Same with the downstairs patio. The hot tub was green and there was dirt and bugsbat the bottom. The backyard could use some grooming and adding some pebbles near the water would make it more pleasant and easy to get in and out of the kayak and such. It was so muddy in the area near the lake with literally thousands of dead bugs hanging off the dock. I understand there are going to be bugs outside but those deadbugs could have been cleared off with a blower before our visit. I sent two messages to the management company, one related to the lack cleanliness of the place overall and in the same text i asked for a fan for the bunk room because it does not have a vent or ceiling fans (this is truly a closet made into a small room which looks adorable...but not usable in the summer as is) and the second "complaint" was when we tried to get in the hot tub. Both times I the response included "we didn't get these complaints from the

Maybe they didn't need to use the bunk room and maybe they didn't get into the hot tub or maybe they're ok with green dirty water...or maybe it had not gotten to that point during the stay. Regardless, mention of the previous renters is completely irrelevant. Foe almost $4k we expected to come into a clean and comfortable house where we could relax and have a great time with family. The property had great potential as it is beautiful. We still made it work and had a great time on the kayaks, paddle boats, and fishing. The manager came in eventually and drained the water, cleaned and refilled the hot tub for us. Another thing I did not like was that in the kitchen they left previously used sponge and a wet cloth that looked dirty and dingy. I threw them out (cloth I left in the laundry area). And purchased a new sponge.*there should be Individually wrapped sponges for every guest*

• Lovely house,. Low level lake.

  The house was very nice, spacious and well equipped. Not many stores within convenient distance, but we were prepared. Parking was very good. Wanted to bring our boat but couldn’t due to low lake water levels so had to rent one in order to enjoy the lake. I recommend the house for large family’s who enjoy each other’s company.
