Myrtle Beach stay

Attention to cleanliness
3/5 Cute little house. For the amount of money we spent for 4 days I expected more cleanliness. The outside of the house can use a good pressure washing. Spiders webs and dirt on the siding was noticeable. The kitchen counter, sink and faucets needs a good scrubbing. Lots of grime. The master shower floor had not stop drain…only an open pipe to let water drain. Also we kept seeing hair from the last visitors.

3/5 Amazing location. Short walk directly to the beach.
Reached out to the property manager several times before arriving to see if the house had any beach items for guests to use (umbrella, chairs, beach towels) and never received a response. By the way- the house does not- bring all your own. A little odd considering its location to the beach.
When arriving at the house after 4pm- the housekeeper was still inside and told us she would need 15 minutes or so and to come back. This was no big deal we just walked to the beach until she left however the house was not stocked with necessities. We had to buy dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. A big expense added onto the trip.
The air in the house was not working when we arrived and several hours later- tried again and again was unsuccessful in hearing back from the property manager. She asked for the address of the house once and never heard from her again.
Additionally, the internet was extremely spotty and would turn off randomly for chunks of hours throughout the day. Several of us were trying to do work and were unable to maintain internet connection.
Is it a thing to cut off air and internet if you don’t think guests are home? Because that’s certainly what it felt like.
Since we had no communication responses from the property manager we were forced to make do for the weekend.
