We checked in on a Thursday. Check in was delayed bc the condo was not cleaned when we arrived at check in time (4pm). While I understand it was wrecked from the people who stayed prior to us, it could’ve been communicated to us that there was going to be a delay. When we did get in, it was 80° in there, and the A/C was off. The cleaning staff had literally just walked out while we waited in the parking lot, so we were confused as to why it would’ve been off. We turned it on, and it would not come on. I called the “property manager” who I thought was the owner of the condo . She was the owner of the cleaning company. Maybe not a big deal, just struck me as odd. She did offer to put in a maintenance request, but we finally got it to come on. She informed us that the cleaners told her it had been stuck on heat and that’s why the A/C wasn’t on. We left for a few hours after checking in and came back to a 78° condo. I contacted the property manager again, and she replied that she would submit a maintenance request. We had to sleep with all of the windows open. We left as early as possible on Friday to get out of the heat and came back late in the day with an 80° condo. I contacted the manager again, and she said she’d attempt to put in another maintenance call. No one came on Friday. We left again early Saturday morning bc it was miserable in the condo and I messaged the manager before our return around 3pm to see if anyone had been there. No response. When we arrived, someone was finally in the condo and informed us that there was no Freon in the unit, massive rust around it from apparent leaks, needed a new capacitor and pretty much nedes a complete overhaul. He left without fixing it. I got a text about an hour later from the manager who said it would be fixed by the end of the day. The HVAC guy did come back with Freon and charged the unit. It was much better…finally! The problem was we had been there for two full days and were checking out the following day. It was miserable for most of the visit. The screen door was nearly impossible to open, and as we tried, it fell off completely. And, the spare toilet didn’t flush without us taking the back off the toilet to pull the chain. This was all explained to the “property manager” throughout the weekend, and finally on the late afternoon before we left, the A/C was temporarily fixed. I’m not looking for a giveaway, however we were offered nothing, not even a “sorry for your inconvenience”.

Owner's Response: "Thank you for pointing out an issue with our A/C. This being one of the very first rentals of early spring, we were surprised to learn there was an issue. We immediately replaced the entire heating and cooling system. The other minor problems were also immediately repaired. We take great pride in providing a first-class property and apologize for the inconvenience."
