Perfect little getaway
5/5 The owner was very sweet and made sure that we had everything that we needed for an enjoyable stay. The home was very clean and well furnished. She had even left treats out for our dogs! She provided everything we needed all the way down to bug spray for the mosquitoes. We will definitely be back to rent from her and vrbo.

Our Myrtle Beach Stay
5/5 We had a great stay overall. We brought 2 mid-sized dogs with us for their first trip to the beach, which was a really close walk. Everything was close. The Walmart neighborhood store was within 3 blocks as well as a Food Lion. There was also a convenient store within 2 blocks that was right on Ocean Blvd. Compass Cove had a nice bar and grill on the second floor that was within walking distance. The neighbors were friendly. The place itself was cute with all the amenities. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The only thing we found that did not affect us at all was that the 2nd floor toilet and faucet needed to be tightened up a bit. They moved but did not leak. I am only mentioning it so that it can be looked at in the near future. All in all, a great time.

Nice, but not comfortable
4/5 Customer service was excellent; we had adequate & timely communication w/ the owner. She was very accommodating & helpful. The condo itself, however, while cute & spacious enough for our family of 4, was not too comfortable. The beds were just ok, but I've slept in worse so overall they were comfortable enough. However the futon couch in the living area was very uncomfortable & caused our backs to hurt. Also, additional seating, like a chair in the living area in addition to the couch, would be helpful & make it more accommodating. One couch for 4 people is not enough seating. We had to use one of the wooden dining room chairs for one of us while we sat in the living room together. Also, the condo desperately needs a fresh coat of paint. Lots of chipped paint everywhere & it was just dull looking throughout. It's an older condo, & otherwise fine in itself; but definitely needs more comfortable seating & a fresh coat of paint (& removing the wallpaper that's peeling off the wall would make it nicer as well). It's a great location to the beach; just a short 2 block walk there, & the traffic is minimal. We did hear lots of sirens; everyday that we were there, but didn't see anything weird or unusual.
