Greenville Home w/ Private Pool: 7 Mi to Downtown

  After driving 9 hours to our destination, all we wanted to do was jump into the pool. It was not ready despite being listed as available mid -June. Then found a substantial amount of mouse droppings in the kitchen and a water bug crawled out of a made bed. We stayed 45 minutes and left all while communicating with the contact person and being told our refund would be no problem. After our trip, found out there had been no contact to get our refund processed and at this point still have to wait 5-8 business days. Evolve really worked hard to correct this matter once I did get a hold of them but the owner was irresponsible with his/her part of the process. Lastly, I now have to ask Vrbo for a refund of service fees. I don’t expect an issue from Vrbo since evolve is going to reimburse me. I don’t know how owners of these properties can falsely advertise like this causing guests to scramble for another place to stay and disrupt their time of leisure and fun.

• Property Not Cared For

  We booked this house because it was the only property with a pool available. We could not use the pool because it was cloudy and not chemically balanced. We bought test strips to check it, and my arm and hand itched after testing it. The pool team and cleaning person were responsive. The owner of the property was not. And there are lots of dead trees on a very wooded property, one took part of the roof of the garage. The home was old, so the only reason to be there was the pool which we never got to use. Evolve is trying to help resolve this with the owner for us. I suggest you choose another home until the owner takes care of this property. It could be great if taken care of well.

  The house and property were as promised and fine.However, we rented this house specifically because of the private pool, and having it was a requirement for us. The morning before we checked in, our host cautioned that the pool wasn't suitable for swimming, and their pool company was working to fix it. Once we arrived, it was clear to us that the pool was unusable and it was not possible to fix it during our stay. We left first thing the next morning.As stressful as this was, we were able to pivot and salvage our vacation thanks to other similar listings nearby. The host gave us a full refund which was the best and only thing they could do to help under the circumstances.Hopefully they will get the pool back into operation, at which point I'm sure this would be a great option.

  -The property is surrounded by massive trees, leading to significant wildlife activity in the area, which unfortunately affected the pool.
  -Recently, a fence was added to deter raccoons from accessing the pool area. However, we are actively investigating adding a large screen enclosure as a more permanent solution.
  -We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and are committed to ensuring the pool is in perfect condition for future guests.

• Very nice house

  The house was nice and clean, and there was plenty of space,The host was nice and responsive to all of our needs.

  The pool wasnt clean maybe because of the Season. But i would definitely book again during the summer to hopefully enjoy the pool.
