The home was cozy, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. The beds were AMAZING. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed. There were board games for all ages. We loved the rocking chairs for morning coffee on the deck. We highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature. We even saw a turtle!

The perfect Lake Cottage! What a gem.
5/5 We had an amazing time at the Lake Hartwell Cottage!
This place is a gem—newly built, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, right on the shores of Lake Hartwell. The cottage is super modern and cozy, The private boat dock was perfect for our water adventures, and we had a blast hanging out around the fire pit in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed (Keurig coffee and free snacks!), and there were plenty of board games and some books to keep us entertained inside. The hosts even left us a Timber Ridge hat, koozie and scavenger hunts for the kids.
Location-wise, it couldn't be better. We loved exploring Lake Hartwell State Park for some hiking and fishing, and Clemson University was just a short drive away. Plus, the cottage is all on one level with just a few steps to get in, which made everything super easy. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into making this place perfect, and it shows. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing lakeside getaway. Can't wait to come back!
