• House didn’t look nothing like the pictures

  The back patio was in really bad shape we really could not be outside to enjoy it most of the chairs are broken or dirty including the hot tub. The bathtub upstairs was clogged the water doesn’t seem to go down properly we couldn’t really use it. The dishwasher and washing machine were both leaking when we tried using them. One of the pool sticks was damaged and the ping pong table was broken as well. Some of the tv remotes are missing batteries and or not working. Some chairs inside were broken as well. Overall we were disappointed with most of the house because it wasn't like it was advertised.

• Poconos Stay

  Our party of 8 enjoyed our long weekend because we are low maintenance, but I will say that there were issues. The code on the door didn’t work so we had to contact the property manager. The property only has beds for maybe 10 people though they advertise beds for 12. The dishwasher and washing machine leak water all over the floor, which I let the property manager know. The hot tub was nice but wasn’t properly treated so it smelled moldy. The price is too high for the quality of the place.

• Disappointing...Not as Advertised!

  Not even close to what we expected. Trying to get into the place is a nightmare and the documentation you have to provide is not disclosed on the VRBO website when booking. It took almost 40 minutes to get a parking pass at the Welcome Center the night we checked in.

  Front door was wide open when we arrived. After texting the property manager she informs us the door is broken and she thought it was fixed. It would randomly open at all hours and we slept with a chair blocking it just in case. Only way in and out safely was the back sliding door and using keys in a lock box.

  VRBO says it sleeps12 people but only sleeps 10. It was very annoying to have two people without a place to sleep for two nights. They knew this too because they only provided 10 towels. Bedroom advertised for three doubles is actually one double and two twins.

  No laundry pods provided as advertised.

  Dishwasher is not screwed into the counter and doesn’t lock when you turn it on. The door would fly open and spray water everywhere.

  Almost all blinds were damaged or broken. We even saw two windows upstairs that appeared to be broken.

  Master shower sprays water out the back lowering water pressure.

  The property manager, Marion was quick to respond to all texts but nothing she could really do. She offered us a late check out or an extra day due to being short on beds but none of us wanted to stay an extra day. We should have been partially refunded for false advertising.
