This house is in the perfect location for Camelback, Great Wolf Lodge and Mount Airy Lodge. The antique mall is almost next door and everything is an easy drive away. the house is comfortable and there were deer in the yard one morning! I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived to the place. It was nothing like the pictures shown. House is run down. Not taken care of. Poop on toilet set, sponges full of dirt, towel and bedding full of hair. It was disgusting. Owner would not refund money or cleaning deposit. We had to go and buy cleaning supplies and candles and small space fragrance because the odor was so horrible. I have pictures of everything. When confronted, they acted like it wasn’t there before. They said they had a camera which they could see we went in and came right back out and left to eat and buy supplies to clean since they were not gojng to return my money. Do better!

-The photos on our listing reflect the home accurately, including recent updates made to maintain its charm. The picture you provided is of the back porch, which is not a featured area in the listing photos.
-The homeowner personally inspected the property before your arrival and confirmed the home was cleaned thoroughly. They reviewed the photos you shared and noted that the specific stains and water spots in the images do not match the condition of the home prior to check-in.
-The property manager and cleaning team were on standby to return and address any concerns, but we understand that offer was declined.
-We understand the frustration of an unexpected experience, but we ask that all guests communicate concerns clearly so we can take immediate action to make things right.
Thank you again for sharing your feedback. While this situation was not ideal for either party, we’ll continue working with the homeowner and cleaning team to ensure future guests have an enjoyable stay.
