I don't understand.
1/5 The pool was bright green with Algae and you couldn't see past the ladder to the bottom. We were told the pool guy had just been there, but the next day was told the pool guy said the pump was broken and wouldn't be fixed during our stay. This was the beginning of the inconsistencies with the pictures listed on VRBO. There was a screw sticking up from the pool walk and a screw sticking up on the stairs inside. The deck had a huge part of a plank missing in the middle. The sink stopper stuck, the second bathroom had no hot water for the shower. The laundry room smelled of mildew. The stairs to the front of the rental would move away from the house. There were no complimentary toiletries as mentioned. Thank goodness my family has a good sense of humor because we played Catan in the dimly lit dining room and laughed a lot. The owner was responsive (I'll give him that) but I want to help him make a better presentation because this was a horrible way to spend our well earned vacation days and money. Oh, and we saw a bear and its family, probably to go through the trash that was sitting in the woods by the house, a huge pile. When we left I attempted to follow the directions to put the trash outside but there were no trash bins but one metal barrel turned upside down before you enter the driveway. I can go on, but I have to get back to work and accrue more vacation days so I can hopefully have a better experience in the future.

Rustic Getaway
5/5 Beautiful property! My pug loved exploring the yard. Spent a whole day at Jim Thorpe, rode trollies, steam train and walked through village. Lots of ‘pet friendly’ things to do. Had Instacart deliver groceries from Wei’s Market. Hot tub was relaxing. Host was very attentive and kind.
