• False Advertising- cut my trip short by two days- dirty- no help! Promised money back didnt happen.

  FALSE advertising! IT TOOK US 2.5 HOURS TO JUST CHECK IN FRIDA NIGHT IN T E COLD. THE ANSWER WAS TO PARK MY TEENAGE SONS CAR IN ANOTHER ESTABLISHEMNT LOCUST LAKE ILLEGLLY GO IN BACK GATE WHERE THEY DONT CHECK BADGES THEN LEAVE HIS CAR MILES AWAY FROM OUR RENTL. 945 PM I GET TO HOUSE ONLY TO BE TOLD FIREPLACE DOESN'T WORK, JACUZZI LOOKED LIKE A SWAMP , SO DIRTY, NO BATTERYS IN THE ONE REMOTE WE HAD FOR FOUR TVS, BROKEN BLINDS ON THE DOOR, THE SMELL IN BASEMENT SUPPOSED TO BE GAME ROOM WAS DISGUSTING WE HQD TO KEEP DOOR LOCKED. WE WENT GOT CLEANING SUPPLIES, CANDLES FOR THE SMELL, FIXED THE BLINDS. 11 PEOPLE STUCK IN ONE SMALL LIVING ROOM. GRILL BUT NO CHARCOAL ONLY TWO PROPANE TANKS . A MESS. I CALLED AND CALLED AND CALLED - FIANLLY TOLD TO VACATE NAD ILL GET MONEY BACK. ONLY TO LEAVE EARLY AND NOW THEY DONT WANT TO HANDLE THE SITUATION OR MAKE GOOD ON THE FALSE ADVERTISEMENT OF THE HOME. MY HARD EARNED MONEY WENT INTO A WEEKEDND GET AWAY WITH MY TEENS ANDFAMILY..ARROWHEAD KNEW THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENTS NAME YOU COULD TELL THEY HAD DEALAINGS WITH HER BEFRE..SHE LIED I GOT IT IN TEXT AND PHONE CALLS. NOW THEY ARE AVOIDING ME . DONT RENT DONT USE THIS SITE ANYMORE . THEY CLAIM 24/7 CUSTOMER SERVICE 2 HRS FRFIDAY NIGHT FOR HER TO CALL ME. SHE STTED SOMEONE WOULD COME OUT STURDAYMORNING NAD FIUX JACUZI AND GET A CARD FOR MY SONS CAR TO COME WITH US. SATURDY NIGHT AT 6 PM IS WHEN SHE RETURNED MY CALL AND TOLD ME TO VACATE.

  Hi Rosemarie, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - We're disappointed that your stay did not meet your expectations and want to take a moment to address your concerns.
  - Per Arrowhead Lake, all guests are required to register, including all guests and vehicles that will be on the premises no later than 3 days before their stay, unfortunately, you had not registered your son's car and Arrowhead Lake would not allow access, in an attempt to accommodate and find a resolution for the situation, another homeowner gave permission for you to park your son's car in his driveway as the home was vacant at that time. Locust Lake Village does not have the same requirements and we can assure you it was not illegal for your car to be parked at this home.
  - The fireplace is operated by a wall switch, and since your stay, we further looked into your concerns and can confirm the fireplace is in perfect working condition.
  - Prior to a guest's stay a pre-stay walk-through is completed to ensure all amenities are in working order and our home is guest ready, we can confirm that the hot tub was serviced and cleaned before your arrival.
  - We have since addressed all other items mentioned and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered during your stay. We hope that the measures taken by Evolve made up for any inconvenience.
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

• Overall stay experience

  Everything was okay just there were not much garbage bags at the house, only 1 small dish soup. The water was nasty it was all brown that was coming out of the faucet and showers toilets. Hot tub was great for 1 day but the next day started to get slimmy. There were some damage to the house probably from previous people like the hole in the wall by the entree and the couch chair was broken on one side. Didnt know if u guys new that. But figure i tell you dont want to be responsible for other peoples damages. But overall stay it was great! Love the nature and just being by trees. I had a great stay. Thanks for everything. Only thing I would say is that little expensive with the cleaning price. And just issues with the fees for the facility i was send a curtain price but when i called to set up the registration the prices was different and higher price. So kinda not fair to me but yeah
