  Our stay was great, the owner was quick to respond with all my questions. The house was amazing and perfect for what we needed. LOVED the wood stove kept the whole house so cozy. Perfect for families. Close by to the lake and a short drive from JFBB. Had a great stay. 10/10

  This is definitely the best cabin we’ve rented so far in Arrowhead’s community. Large spaces (bedrooms, basement), easy check in, and fantastic temperature control. Absolutely considering renting this place again for next year!

• Not luxurious- cabin like

  It seems as though the pictures were taken awhile ago. For example, the fridge is not the same fridge as the picture (there is no ice/water on the door). It could use updating, it is not as nice (or big) as the pictures make it look, it is more like cabin living. It has everything you could possibly need to cook with it- that was great! The lake/beach area was really nice and peaceful. The fees are ridiculous for off-season but we knew that going in.

  The house was absolutely filthy. There were mouse droppings under the sink and in the tracks of the sliding glass door. There were stains on the rugs in the kitchen & living room & the couch. There was jelly smeared on the side & back of the couch. There was VOMIT on the bedroom floor & wall in the basement that no one tried to clean up. The shower head in the downstairs bathroom didn't work. There were two piles of screws that one of our 8 year old sons stepped on. The beds had brown & red stains. The kitchen chairs were wet, badly stained & had no middle to them. We sat on our coolers as there was nothing clean to sit on in the house. We tried to get moved to another house & VRBO dropped the ball. We got a 50% refund from the owner. Still not acceptable- should have gotten a full refund as that was a health & safety concern & we were literally trapped with nowhere else to go.

• Nice community, home could use a refresh

  We read all of the comments beforehand and knew of the additional charges for vehicles and wristbands (completely useless in the off-season) Just be sure to navigate to the welcome center first, not the street address of the home. We stayed at this tri-level home with ages 0-75yo family members. Overall, a nice stay but the home could use a refresh to make it better. Also, be aware of what is on which level for bedrooms. Right off of the kitchen on the main level is the bunk room and queen bedroom which is next to a bathroom. Up a set of semi steep stairs is the loft, king room and bathroom. In the basement level (full view, sliding glass door from the Foosball and sitting area), the full bed is located in a windowless room. This arrangement worked for us but not work for all.
