  Although the kids loved skiing at Camelback, and we felt the house was well stocked with everything we could need, and was both roomy and comfortable, there were a few let-downs. Our daughter was the only non-skier so while we were off to the slopes, she was looking forward to sitting by the fireplace with her book. Shortly after arriving, we discovered our fireplace did not work. We called the property manager and was told they could not come out until the next day(which never happened). There was no hair dryer(it was listed as an item provided) so I went around all weekend with unkept hair. We had problems with the house code(it never actually opened the front door), and our bedroom television did not work. The hot tub never actually got hot so we only ventured out there once(we weren’t inspired to go in after that). We found the location was less than desirable with roads loaded with ruts and potholes. It was unfortunate that we had to pay $135 for the amenities at the community center but never went there because there was nothing there that we wanted. We were told about the upcharge AFTER we booked and paid for our rental. Perhaps you should be more upfront about the extra charges in the future. ☹️

  Hi Donna, we're sorry your stay fell short of expectations. After going over your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:
  - As soon as you let us know about the fireplace, we addressed the issue on the same day with the service company. They came to change the thermocouple on the first available appointment.
  - The hair dryer is located in the first-floor bathroom in the top drawer.
  - The front door has the door lock code, plus we have keys in the lockbox. Guests always have the options to use the keys or door lock code.
  - We checked the TV in the bedroom, and it is working.
  - We have the hot tub service weekly before the guests arrive. Hot tub temperatures are set up to 105F. There are electronic panels on the hot tub to adjust the temperature and jets.
  - The house is located in the Gold winner community, and the community maintains the roads.
  - The $135 is the community association fees, which include a temporary guest membership, car access card, and transaction fees. These fees are mandatory, paid to the community, and are not included in the bookings. The listing has a detailed explanation about the community fees so guests are aware before booking.
  The owners do all they can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!

• Beautiful a frame house in the woods

  I absolutely loved this stay. The house was clean, house had a firepit outback and the hot tub was nice. The host was easy to contact and get back to us!

  Overall, the place was awesome!Just a few things to report..the light over the sink was blinking when turned onThe light over the stove didn’t work! The one single bed in first floor bedroom was lumpy and uncomfortableOtherwise, very nice and well equipped!

  We needed to have some down time and believe me this was a wonderful house. Looks just like the pictures; fully stocked kitchen. The owners, Eugenia and her husband, were so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. TV was limited but we weren’t there to watch TV. Lake and pools were great. Hot tub was very relaxing after a day out. We would definitely come here again.
