• Convenient; no-nonsense stay

  There is public parking just across the street and a Trader Joes nearby. Paired with the full kitchen, you can save money on going-out by getting groceries.

  The Trolley is literally outside the door and it runs 24/7. Need to get to city-center and back quickly at essentially no cost? Easy, just walk out the door. Downside to this? City noise is very much heard in the bedroom closest to the street. It is to be expected, but be prepared if you are a light sleeper.

  The place was clean. Period. At no point did I feel uneasy or grossed out. And the checkout routine did not ask too much of us. It definitely must be mentioned that the entry way into the residence is a thin hallway with only stairs and two small landings. If you are traveling with those with mobility issues, it could pose a problem. When reaching the first landing, there is a dip in one of the steps. Please watch your footing.

  Unfortunately, I cannot give a perfect score. The rating is closer to a 5 than a 4. The first complaint is largely irrelevant: at the time of this review, the pack-and-play did not work. So, if you are hoping to make use of that, check with the owner first.

  The only other complaint, which I believe is important, is there are no immediate extra linens or towels. If you book 4 people, there are 4 towels and the bare minimum sheets and pillows. We did ask the owner for another blanket, but they could not provide it. So, if you need more, perhaps bring your own.

  Overall, great stay; book it.

• Perfect Location

• Good location, nice place

  We wanted a location close to downtown and this place was perfect.

  Pros:

  Decent size rooms

  Clean

  Easy check in

  Easy to find parking

  Lots of restaurants nearby

  Cons:

  Shower temp was hard to control, either too hot or too cold

  It’s on a busy street so very loud

  Dishwasher didn’t work and cleaned dishes was a checkout requirement

  I wouldn’t recommend if you are traveling with small kids.

  -The shower has a thermostat located in the unit that can help adjust the temperature more easily. The homeowner would have been happy to assist if contacted during your stay.
  -We wish you had let us know about the dishwasher issue – we could have sent a repair technician right away and arranged for staff to handle the dishes.
  -The property is equipped with double-insulated windows to help minimize street noise, but being in a busy downtown area can sometimes bring unavoidable outside sounds.

• Little family trip

  Great location to get around town. Very close to restaurants one street south. Walking distance from the train station and a couple of museums. Trader Joe’s is one block north to grab a few things. The owner was communicate and responded quickly when we had an issue.

• Overall a Great Place to Stay

  Overall a great place to stay and far superior to Hotels. Very good location. Nearby parking lot on the same side of Market St. that was across the street on the corner was a great place to park as long as it was not full ($35/day). Apartment was generally nice and relatively quiet and private. Downsides were that the dishwasher was broken and there was no ice maker nor ice trays. Also, there was no remote for the TV but we had a workaround for this. Also wish there was some way to shade the skylight in the spare bedroom.
