• Great place and great stay

  This is a great budget-friendly way to visit the area. The home has lots of outdoor seating, so gathering outside during beautiful weather is pleasant. If the weather isn’t sunny, the downstairs has a lot of open rooms. The kitchen and two living room spaces are undivided, whereas the dining room is sequestered with entrances from the kitchen and front door. The bedrooms seem well-proportioned, unlike some rentals that try to sneak a bed into every closest to boost the listing. The powder room downstairs is small, but you have two nice full bathrooms elsewhere so I don’t think that will be an issue for anyone. The decor is quirky and shows the owner’s personality. • My family and I loved this house!!

  The house was just like the pictures. It was very clean and cozy. It was a 5/5 stay. We didn’t use the amenities but we drove past them and it looked great. There is so many activities to do in the area. Great home!

• Family time

  The house was clean and had plenty of room for my family, which included 3 generations. It was well supplied with everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We were meeting up with our family in another lake community that doesn't allow renters, so we did not use the facilities at Emerald Lakes, but the location was convenient for us. I would consider renting this house again.

• Not what we expected

  The house wasn’t clean. When we first arrived we thought something had died outside the house. Turns out it was the garbage outside of the house that hadn’t been picked up or put out on the curb. There were maggots which the property manger asked that we take a picture of the garbage and found them all over. The game room did not have any good pool sticks to play a game of pool. There were also no ping pong balls. The garbage cans in the kitchen have never been cleaned. I did the cleaning instead of settling in. The shower curtain in the master bedroom is full of mold. It’s never been changed. We did make due on the deck. The furniture outside was filthy and moldy. There were dead insects everywhere. The host was reachable via text but not very prompted at giving me much information when asked where the community lodge was located. There was no welcome book or map to reference where the amenities where located.
