    Upon our arrival, we noticed that the place was not clean at all. I immediately texted the host to express my disappointment and complaints about the lack of cleanliness. However, the host didn't even take the time to respond back to me.

    The place was roomy the only complaint that I had is… the place was filthy… they need to have someone come in a do a DEEP clean the property. Linens, dishes, furniture was dirty. But I didn’t want to keep calling the property manager so I decided to just clean everything before it was used.

    When we got to the property people were already in the house. He tried to give us another house that was horrific. Eventually after unpacking he gave us another house 15 minutes away that was very nice. Beware of this renter.

  • Disappointing

    Upon arrival at the house we found it to be unacceptably dirty with soiled bedding still in place, food on the counters, stove, table and dirty refrigerator. Dirt and trash on the floors, coffee and end tables to include false eyelashes, used floss picks and food crumbs. Dirty dishes in the sink and bathrooms were disgustingly filthy, used towels and stained toilet bowls. There were no batteries in any of the remote controls and the posted wifi passwords did not work. We found a piece of scrap paper on a mantle with a password that did work. There was a broken armrest on a loveseat with nails exposed, broken furniture in the yard, the elevated deck stairs were mildewed. dangerously slick when dampened by rain/dew and the deck had a hole in it from a rotted board covered with a thin carpet and a table placed over it, making it impossible for our youngest grandkids to be allowed outside to enjoy it. When I called the contact about the conditions he said he would send a cleaning crew.

    A cleaning crew was sent and they did an excellent job with the cleaning and 2 hours and 40 minutes after our check-in time I was able to conduct a walk through and accept the conditions.

    This delay in accessing the property was extremely stressful after a long drive. Unable to utilize the bathrooms or take the luggage out of our cars and enduring the mosquitoes. This delay ruined our plans for our first night. Last day was ruined waiting for missing welcome pckg with trash passes that never came.
