We had a wonderful short stay in this cabin. It is very secluded and private, and in a convenient location for kayaking (although the river view is obscured by trees in the summer). The kitchen is fully equipped. The master bedroom is spacious and has a beautiful en suite bathroom. The upstairs bedrooms are on the small side and rather warm in the summer, but the windows can be opened and the owner provides several fans.
We left a couple of expensive items in the home, and the owner was very responsive to all messages. He arranged for the cleaner to meet us at the home so that these items could be returned.
The cabin was beautiful, well maintained, clean and very peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook. Beds were comfortable. Our only issue was we needed a lot more towels than were provided. We had 8 bath towels, 8 hand towels and 3 washcloths for 6 people for 4 days and we had no access to a washer and dryer. We had to go shopping for more towels. Also the cabin is quite a distance away from any shopping or attractions. Otherwise the host was very responsive and we would absolutely stay here again.

This cozy hilltop cabin was the perfect place to getaway for the weekend. The owners did a lovely job of keeping the original rustic log cabin elements but updated them and modernized the functionality of the cabin. The living room was huge and had a heavenly soft couch - the best place in the house to gather with friends around the wood burning fireplace and open concept living room. All bedrooms were outfitted with comfortable beds and sheets and the primary bedroom had a huge soaking tub in addition to a glass encased shower. All the fixtures were updated and new and the whole house was designed cohesively. The kitchen had a beautiful large round table so everyone had a seat for breakfast! But the best part? The screened in porch off the back of the house. The best way to achieve the indoor/outdoor look and they even had a nice-sized hot tub so you could feel like you were really outside...without freezing. They had a nice fire pit out back and the house is completely secluded with not a neighbor in sight. It's convenient to small towns and we were able to go out to dinner one night but mostly just hung around and enjoyed the cozy fall vibes. Can't wait to come back!
Beautiful house in a very quiet area. Very private.
