Loved the Lockbox
5/5 The Creekside Treehouse (aka “The Lockbox”) in Damascus, PA is a true hidden gem. Nestled by a bubbling brook in the forest not far from the Delaware River it is an architectural novelty the fascinating construction of which is described in detail in a book you’ll find on the kitchen table. The place has multiple design elements that are both unique and very functional. Sleeping there with the windows open and the brook providing the background soundtrack is a wonderful experience. Truly worth a visit.
The perfect getaway!
5/5 We had three adults and two children on a 4 night “get out of the city” vacation. This home was PERFECT…. Clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and in the middle of nature! We saw deer, a porcupine, and lots of beautiful forest right from our balcony. The melodious stream serenaded us 24/7; could hear it from every room (the weather was perfect for open windows). The family room was just the right size for family game nights. We brought games but also loved the games provided.
The kitchen was minimal but had exactly what we needed.
The drives to town for food and shopping and to the state park for hiking and fishing made perfect day trips.

5/5 What a lovely stay we had at this little unique gem.
Four adults fit very comfortably with room for one more.
The hosts went above and beyond to meet all our needs.
Definitely want to come back in the warmer weather to hike and enjoy the nature surrounding the house.
