• Looks good but isn't. Don't rent ever

  The pictures looked so great and there was so much room. We (all 12 of us) thought we were so lucky. Got there around 6pm and the house was 48*F inside and no water. Contacted the Host/Property Manager Vanessa. Initially she was so apologetic and pleasant. Had her friend come check out the basement. Two pipes off the main were broken. He said he could fix it that night but had to talk to Vanessa. Vanessa said he couldn't get supplies and fix it that night. That we could cancel. Now its 9pm and we have driven 2 hours and our event was early the next morning. We opted to stay the night. Asked for gallons of water to flush toilets and wash with. Vanessa said she couldn't bring those, that we needed to go get them ourselves. Vanessa told us where to go but that we had to get it ourselves. We were out of the house by 6am for our event with the promise that the water would be on when we got home. At 3pm, we arrived and the water was on but still no baseboard heat or hot water. Contacted Vanessa again and she said she would contact the repairman again but that he has said water and heat were on. We never heard from her again after 6pm Friday. We left Saturday (day early) due issues. Left the 2 heat pumps running in the house due to the fact there was no heat and the temperature was going to drop into the teens overnight. Miscellaneous other issues. Trash was overflowing the outside cans when we got there. Toilet on lower level leaked.

  The property is convenient to attractions, however, the property itself is rundown and does not appear to be very well maintained. Cabinet doors were falling off after opening, the fireplace did not work as listed, the “game room” was not very usable . Could not use the pool table because the sticks had no tips, one video game did not work, could not use the air hockey table or ping pong table because the ceiling in that area is so low, that only small children could use it. The pots and pans need to be thrown out and replaced. The stairs leading to the 3rd floor need maintenance. There is a motion activated light in one bedroom that makes sleeping very difficult. Would not book again.

• Christmas Family Time

  We enjoyed the time spent in the home. The stove is the only thing I’ll say to get looked at. It heats up slow and doesn’t stay hot . Other than that a 10/10. Thank you

  I want to take this time to thank Vanessa for her quick response when I text her nothing big just a small thing that happened. The only thing that the house needs is a new stove the front left burner doesn’t work as good as it should. Love love the house the space and the location. I will be staying again

• Nice and quiet property for large family

  This is a nice and quiet property for a large group to stay in. There is a decent-sized backyard and front yard for kids to run around, as well as a game room in the basement for entertainment. The property is all-around very well maintained. My only issue was that the two managers were not prompt in responding to my texts, but I did not have any major issues with my stay that I couldn't eventually figure out on my own. Other than that, I recommend this place.
