  Myself, 3 friends & my small dog stayed here for a girls weekend. There was plenty of room for us & the view was absolutely beautiful. We spent most of our time in the sunroom.

  There had been a snow storm a couple days prior to our arrival. Upon check in, the driveway was plowed but the walkway to the front door had only a very narrow path. No other access areas were shoveled. I couldn’t get to the garbage cans easily either. It would’ve been nice to have other exits easily accessible. I shoveled a path to the outside grill myself. The house had some quirks. It seems that it’s being worked on but the finishing touches could use some attention along with maintenance. The decor is not quite fitting for the area but that’s not really a big deal. The house looked clean at first glance but after exploring a bit, the fans were covered in dust, the kitchen supplies needed washing and the stove was so dirty that I wound up cleaning that myself after we had a smoke filled kitchen on night one. The outside garage cans were full so we had to leave our garage inside the kitchen to be removed by housekeeping. We didn’t do laundry during our stay but the washer is so small that you could probably only wash a couple towels at a time. The downstairs area was a bit dark but could be nice if it was finished. Communication with the host could’ve been better but overall the privacy & view made it worth while. Overall, I would book this property again. It just needs some tweaking for renters.

  The house is just like the pictures. The view from the deck is amazing. At night you can see Jack Frost ski slopes lit up and beautiful sunrises in the morning. The fireplace is great, beautiful stone work. Big upgraded kitchen with unique wood kitchen table. Perfect for the house. Queen beds were comfortable. Didn’t use the twin beds but they seem much firmer than the Queen beds. Master bedroom and bathroom very spacious and is upstairs. More beautiful views from upper deck. They have a fancy coffee maker but we brought our Keurig. It just easier for me. Only 2 steps to get into front door which is very helpful for those who can’t do too many steps. It was very cold during our stay so didn’t get to use decks or fire pit. It snowed about 4-5 inches and someone plowed the driveway for us. That was very nice. The contact for the property was very responsive. Restaurants are 15-40 minutes away. Closest options are pizza restaurants and diners. Dollar General is only 3 minutes away if you forget anything. Camelback is 30 minute drive, Big Boulder is 15 minute drive. If you like serenity and beautiful views, you’ll love this house.

• A wonderful stay in the Poconos

  We had a great time during our stay! The communication could have been better and the house is a bit smaller than the photos show but all in all, it’s a great location and we will be back with our family next year.

  This was the first time staying in this area.

  The house itself was clean and well equipped with all you would need.

  I do have to say however the maintenance needs improvement. Door handles and couch leg fell off several times. The gas grill required some maintenance to use. The biggest issue was the garbage. All containers were filled upon our arrival. I contacted property manager and they said they would come to empty, but never showed up. Had to leave our garbage out on kitchen counter when we left.

  As for the outdoor fire pit access is extremely dangerous and we did not even use. If looking for use of yard there is none available.

  I enjoyed the area and would visit again but not this property.
