  The place was clean, but there were a lot of beetles outside the entrance door. The description didn't mentioned was on a second floor with very steep stairs, gladly my mother in law change her plans otherwise couldn't get upstairs

  We had a short stay in Lafayette (just outside of McMinnville). The property was easy to find, ample parking, and good instructions by the management company. It’s located in a transition neighborhood, with older properties on either side. The VRBO property is one of the best on the block. The two bedrooms, one bathroom and kitchen appear to be new, and the laundry room was a nice feature. We didn’t cook while there but it would be no problem to do so.

  Our unit was at the back of the property and required a climb up stairs. There’s a small deck at the top where my son and I sat out for a cold one!

  Beds were comfy as was the two chairs in the living area. A mini-split air conditioner kept the place just right for our stay.

  The beds are placed somewhat tight against the wall, and tv (one in each bedroom) were in an awkward position. There was no tv in the living area which would have been a nice feature.

  The property manager was very good with communication and responsive. I had a little trouble with the door code which was resolved with a quick call.

  We enjoyed our stay! This was good value for our money and the property was obviously newly remodeled and well cared for.

  the good:

  nice place, well maintained

  the bad: after the cleaning fees (which were $195.00) its was more expensive than an actual hotel. Could be ok, except that have to clean the place yourself before leaving or they will charge yet more fees. They provide a list of what they expect...do the dishes, take out trash, strip linnens from beds, etc. I'm not sure what the cleaning fees actually cover. I've never stayed in an airbnb /VRBO before so maybe this was normal.
