Why is this place allowed to be rented?
1/5 Lock wouldn't take code. Waited in 100+ degree heat while property manager sent someone over to let us in. That person told us last two renters had same issue.
AC was not on so house was a sauna.
Mold in back bedroom, mold in hall bathroom tub and a generous build-up of it underneath the bathroom sink—definitely a health issue.
Floor in hall bath had plywood in front of the toilet with a throw rug over it. This was covering up the lack of subfloor underneath the linoleum flooring. Without that plywood you would fall through to the ground underneath the trailer. Rest of the trailer had numerous areas where flooring gave as you walked on it. Definite wood rot in the floor joists and subflooring. This is a safety issue.
Cracks and cave-ins on ceiling around a wall post and ceiling fans. Indication of water damage from a leaky roof. A couple of walls that if you were to lean against them, you would go through the wall to the outer wall.
Dryer door held shut not with a latch, but a magnet you place over the door.
Wasps and spiders covered the front porch and door. Had to go buy spray to get rid of them just so we could come and go for the week. Back door we had to go in and out of because of lock issue on front door was infested with wasps as well.
Stairs on back porch are rotten. Giant holes in yard.
Everyone we met in Bernice - to a T - all told us they know the owner and his lack of taking care of this property and his indifferent attitude about fixing it.

Perfect for a fishing get away!
5/5 Nice get a way for the week end. All the amenities you needed with a nice spacious shop for your boat or trailer. Close to the lake and easy access to many boat ramps. This is now my go to when staying or fishing on grand lake.
