  Checking is at 3; we received our check-in information @ 714pm. The following issues were unaddressed: There were no security lights (motion activated) around the house, creating a heightened alarm with six major windows without locks; the locks removed/broken, or latch missing.More than half of the house has no curtains or window coverings. Safety Concern: this is a corner house on a main street.Window Screens damaged or missing on windows w/out locksThe listing showed two bathrooms. One bathroom is located in the basement with signs of flooding and is used for storage. House rules indicate no pets allowed – however, animal and rodent feces was on the basement floor, and the ENTIRE house smells like a dog.The property is advertised w/AC, but the AC needs to be fixed.All the windows were left open, and the house was full of mosquitos.The handrail on the staircase are loose.The furniture is heavily stained and soiled. Bedspreads were dirtyThe grass was uncut an the bushes were high around the property.Signs of recent flooding in basement The shower curtain was filthy.Countertops unclean.The floors unswept or mopped in months.The trash bins were full to capacity with an overflow of maggots.The basement door had a small ladder propped under it to secure the lock.We were locked out of the property and was told everyone was out of statethe house and guess are under constant surveillance Reviews are REMOVED There is more and PHOTOS

• Filthy uninhabitable Home and not as per advertised

  First of all, this home should NOT be on any home rental platform for the following reasons

  1. Home has trash (paper, tablet, dirt) in main living hall, bed and bath room

  2. Bath room so dirty on the floor and bathtub, i have to mop and clean in order to even enter. Kids refused to enter. It had hairs, loads of dirt, mold, wash basin clogged and water backed up as soon as we wash a cup of water.

  For every wash, we have to wait for 30 minutes before water drained leaving unclean sink

  3. It was advertised as 4 bedroom and 2 bath, however, it has only 3 bedrooms and 1 unclean unusable bath and another half bath in yet another shabby basement. Both adults and kids refused to use half bath and only have to use single unclean bath for 4 days

  4. First day is no use due to no gas and no heat due to gas closure. Although host informed me before my stay and responsive, we could use home literally from noon next day

  5. Bed rooms have some windows with no curtains, we had to use makeshift cover for privacy

  6. First day of checkin went off with cops as guest as hosts forgot to turn off security alarm

  7. Bed lines look old and used hence we have to ask my brother to bring in some linens for kids

  8. Home security passcode is same as home street no, hence we were worried all the time about our security. I slept on couch as precaution on all days of stay

  9. No iron box or iron board

  10. Adequate towels, but needed more for 8 people to stay

  11. Internet slow upstairs room so no use of smart tv

  12. Doors are very old, rusted that it took 2 people to secured bolt for main door on the street

  13. Room doors are broken badly, ripped off which created insecurity in our minds

  14. No kitchen napkin (bounty like). Hence we have to use our hands to clean and wash our hands

  15. Kitchen sink looks old and looks like stained that gives a look that needs replacement

  Overall they charge of cleaning, but looks like no cleaning done prior. Even eggs and juices from prior stay or from the owner left inside without prior information

  Only good thing about this home is Host is very responsive and apologizes for all the issues

  I normally lazy to write feedback (good or bad) but it felt like a joke for this stay. I should not be even charged for the stay. If there is a rating as dont stay, i shall select it
