  Wish we had read the previous reviews, they were accurate. Growing up in the area I never would have imagined what an awful house. This should not be on your site, if your commercials are true…extremely disappointing!

  Great location, easy and helpful communication with owner. Beds and bathrooms were fine. Good parking. Nice quiet street. A/C worked well. Overall, our stay was fine for the price. However, the whole house could use a deep cleaning inside and outside yard cleanup. The house smelled a tad musty when we arrived, leaves from last fall had not been picked up, and porch area was dusty with cobwebs. Kitchen equipment was minimal. One bedroom has no dresser nor place to hang clothes. No access to washer/dryer should be noted in the house information.

  Hi Anne, thank you for your comments, glad you enjoyed your stay, and happy to hear our communication was helpful and timely. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - The house is cleaned top to bottom after each guest has checked-out and is immaculate every time. Perhaps your deep clean comment was due to the odor. When we came to check the house, we also noticed a slight odor, which is very unusual. Apparently, at some point, the dehumidifier stopped working which, of course, will affect the odor. We are sorry this happened during your stay. We have since had the A/C serviced, replaced the HEPA filter, and the dehumidifier is now working. Within hours the odor was gone.
  - We have a weekly yard service for mowing and weed-whacking. We did ask them to remove the fall leaves from the back. I trust you enjoyed the yard, paths and screened porch. The town now promotes organic gardening so we're waiting on new bushes and shrubs for the driveway area and using organic methods to control weeds.
  - The kitchen has quite a few cabinets so you may have missed some of the supplies. We provide a full set of dishes, flatware, glasses, coffee mugs, cooking utensils, pots, pans, and baking tools. We've recently added a steamer, lettuce dryer, and more. There's also a Keurig, electric teapot, and coffee and tea supplies.
  - There is a public laundry about a mile from the house. The posting does not show a washer and dryer available. We will ask the management company if they can highlight this in our listing.
  - Thank you again for your comments. We are making improvements all the time. It is an older home but it is immaculate and spacious, and thoroughly cleaned after every guest leaves.

  Needs updated and maintenance. Yard was not usable due to overgrown weeds etc. TV not user friendly. Did not find controls for temperature. Sticky notes left on walls for instructions! Only 1 trash bag left for a whole week. Very little kitchen supplies. Did not stay home during the day so was not used much. Bed was comfortable.

  Hi Barbars, thank you for your comments. This homeowner works hard to provide an enjoyable stay for guests and they would like to clarify the following details:
  - The house is older but kept immaculate and spacious, with thorough cleaning after each guest. We have weekly lawn care, so the yard and screened porch are well-maintained.
  - Regarding the gardens, the property is a half acre with various flowers. We are replanting to make the gardens easier to maintain, as the previous owners tended them full-time. The town now promotes organic gardening, which takes more time. We are waiting on new bushes and shrubs for the driveway area and are using organic methods to control weeds in the meantime. The trees in the front will be replanted in the backyard.
  - I'm sorry you had trouble with the Apple TV and Nest thermostat. If you had contacted me, I would have been happy to assist. The thermostat is to the right of the living room door, and the notes were meant to help you access things easily.
  - The kitchen has many cabinets, so you might have missed some supplies. It includes a full set of dishes, flatware, glasses, cooking utensils, pots and pans, baking tools, and a Keurig with coffee supplies. More trash bags are also under the sink.
