Home Away from Home 🏡
5/5 We recently stayed at this “Gorgeous Montgomery Home with Hot Tub!” while visiting the area with our family. You can tell that the host and caretakers of this property work hard to anticipate the needs of their guests! The home was clean and tidy and provided a comfortable family-friendly atmosphere.
We were greeted with baskets of snacks, which were quickly raided by the children. The kitchen is well appointed and provided above and beyond the basics for our stay, which was great because most of our meals were prepared at the property. Appliances are updated and easy to use. The cookware was great quality and the knives were sharp- which is sometimes hard to find in a short term rental At the time of our stay the ice maker within the fridge was out of order, but the host provided a countertop ice maker to replace it.
The pool was clean and inviting, and the host provided towels, goggles, and some pool toys. There was a small, unforeseeable issue with the pool, but the caretaker was in contact regarding it, prior to our stay to advise us how to manage it, and it did not interfere with the enjoyment of this amenity. It did, however, interfere with the heating of the pool, and the host graciously offered to refund the cost to heat it.
The F. R. O. G. (finished room over garage) has access through the twin bedroom to the second floor bathroom, which was great to see and not represented in the listing photographs! So, now you know!
The master bath shower was recently renovated and felt fresh and clean! Loved the black washcloths to remove makeup, along with the toiletries that were also provided! All we really had to bring our swimsuits and clothes!
After checking out, I provided some private feedback regarding a few “feel good” items we would have liked to have found in the kitchen- citrus squeeze and popcorn bowls and the host quickly replied with- “they’ve been ordered!”
Don’t hesitate to reserve this property! You won’t regret it! It will be the first property we consider when we return to the area!
Great stay in Montgomery!
5/5 This place was wonderful! We had a very pleasant stay and the amenities were appreciated! It was really nice to sit outside and eat a meal, hear the beautiful birds, and other wildlife in the area. The kitchen was amazing to cook in and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the house. The only negative thing I will say is that we did not get to spend more time in this house! I will definitely plan on coming back here in the future!
Nice get a way near West Point
5/5 Hosted our son and fellow cadets for tge weekend. Very spacious. Hot tub, game room and kitchen were the highlights

Great property with hiccups
4/5 When we got to the house, bunch of flies inside and pool was green because filter was not running long enough. 2 day there we lost power to the house for a few hours, when it came back we had no internet and part of the house didn’t work including the pool. Reached out to the property manager but had a difficult time because there was no cell service and no WiFi. She had to come to the house to check everything out and redo the WiFi. Day 3 we had to have an electrician come to fix the rest of the electric and the pool. With the exception of those things, property was very beautiful and so was the area. Loved the house and the updated appliances
