My husband and I loved this apartment! It had everything we needed - even a Brita water filter in the fridge (we drink a ton of water) and a nice selection of coffee makers, coffee choices, tea choices, sugar, and a variety of Zip Lock bags (I love them). The really cool thing about this apartment was how it was decorated with themes of black, white, yellow, and birds. We love birds! There was a funny quote from Steve Martin on the chalkboard wall in the kitchen, too. Need I say it? We love Steve Martin! Jan's looseleaf book about the apartment and her expectations of us as guests was very thorough. I enjoyed speaking with Jan on the phone to see if we could get into the space earlier than 3:00 and texting her some photos of us on the nearby bike trails that she told me about. It was heart-warming and funny to see Santa on Thanksgiving morning riding up and down every side street in town from 9 am until noon on an antique fire truck ringing the big bell in front and being followed by 2 other emergency vehicles with sirens going. They only stopped when parents brought their children out to greet Santa. You've gotta love Mohawk!
We visited our hometown to attend a wedding. Property was clean and well kept. No issues with noise or traffic sounds. The village itself is a quiet place to begin with in the area. The Roku TV thing we found hard to use and cumbersome so we streamed from our iPads to TV using Airplay and accessing our cable carrier. We didn’t watch much TV as we were out most of the time visiting nevertheless we tried to keep up with news. Suggest bringing a firestick if you have one. The bed was a full size so if you are a bit of a larger person it could be “tight”

The apartment was very pretty, with comfortable furnishings and all of the conveniences we needed. The host left “special touches” to welcome us, including snacks, clear instructions, games, etc. The porch is beautiful — right across from a park and library — very relaxing spot for coffee in the morning. Would definitely recommend!
From the owner: "Nancy was a great guest! She was respectful and tidy and spent the time to leave a nice review of her stay. I would welcome her back."

The owner had very thoughtful touches for guests, such as welcoming notes, snacks, games, etc. The porch was lovely for morning coffee, and we appreciated having a designated parking spot(s).
