The space was a relaxing dream. We could sit outside and listen to the babbling creek and enjoy the sounds of birds and frogs. We saw many songbirds, deer and a turkey. Bring shoes to walk the creek! It's beautiful. The yard is just amazing. The sauna was really nice, but it is a bit of work to get it hot. The house is very chic and nicely decorated. Two separate sitting areas was nice for some privacy. Comfortable couches and beds. Well appointed for cooking with a new grill. We enjoyed both the inside and outside large tables for meals. The house had all the items we needed to enjoy! Host / caretaker was very responsive and accommodating. Directions for use of everything was clear and helpful. Lots of good recommendations were given too. We will be renting this house again!
One thing to note for the layout is the 3 bedrooms are upstairs with one bathroom (with the gorgeous tub) and the bathroom with the shower is downstairs off the kitchen.
The pictures accurately portray the home. The house is very quiet. So if you’re looking for a peaceful destination this home fits the bill. The pots and pans could be improved on, but we managed. The wood stove is cozy. Overall a comfortable home.
