  The location right on Lake Pleasant and the view of the lake and mountains was amazing. The children really enjoyed swimming in the lake and adults made use of the kayak and canoe. We loved having a piano. The home also had many interesting and unusual decorations.We did contact the host about some electrical issues. He was aware of them and said he has had trouble getting an electrician. The host was eager to make our stay comfortable. There were plenty of fans to use to circulate the air. Website pictures made the refrigerator look bigger than it was. Also, another refrigerator was in pictures so we assumed it was for our use, but when we got there it had a sign on saying “Owner’s refrigerator.” There were 9 of us there for almost a week so refrigerator space was at a premium. (There was a small beverage refrigerator in the kitchen that was not pictured)Enjoyed fire pit with available wood to make smores

• Great lake house

  This was a great stay for us. House is as-described, a peaceful lakehouse with water front view and access within a couple of steps of the back door. You can sit outside and enjoy the view of the lake and mountains and observe ducks and loons swimming. The owners allowed use of all their kayaks, life jackets and water/sand toys, which was great for kids and adults. Plenty of space for our group of 5 adults and two kids and could have fit many more. Kitchen has all the utensils, pots, pans, plates, cups, cutlery we needed, and they had staples like salt, sugar, pepper and other spices. It’s clear the owners are very thoughtful people and have gone to great lengths to make their home a welcoming and cozy getaway for visitors. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again, as it was pretty much the perfect place for us. One item to note is we did try to text the property manager at the number listed twice and did not get a response, though we realize now that not everyone texts and maybe their phone only takes calls, so it’s likely our error in not just calling, not a big deal. Wasn’t an emergency in any way, and the owners left thorough instructions, but just a note for other renters that you likely need to call the property manager instead of text if you have questions. Also, we did not request the hot spot as listed as an option (no WiFi), but we didn’t need it because cell reception was great at the house.

  Despite a couple rainy days, it was such a wonderful experience! Plenty of room in this gorgeous home, very clean and comfortable beds. Excellent location right on the water just steps away to the sandy beach, long waterfront. Canoe, kayaks on the property are an excellent addition!

  Also great communication with the owners and the evolve team. Thanks for everything!

  We had a great time on our stay. We did have a few issues. When we arrived there was alot of trash on the porch. On the last day the toilet and tub downstairs backed up. We couldn't use any water.

  -We have high standards of hospitality for our property to ensure our guests have a positive stay. We're truly sorry to hear that you didn't have the five-star experience we endeavor to provide
  -We sincerely apologize for the state of the property at your arrival and how it impacted your stay. We'll collaborate with our cleaning team since this is not consistent with our cleaning expectations to make sure areas aren't missed moving forward and to ensure this issue does not recur for future guests
  -Due to our septic tank, it is recommended to only use one-ply tissue. We want to provide all our guests with clean features, and we understand our septic tank is a new experience for some people. We had someone come out as soon as possible to take care of it
  We have had such positive reviews in the past. We work very hard to ensure all guests arrive at a 5-star experience at our vacation home and we're confident that we will continue to do so moving forward!
