Lovely House
5/5 It was a pretty, older home with modern conveniences. The town seems quiet, though the home is located at a fairly busy crossroads, so pack earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Easy drive to Jamestown.

Beautiful home
4/5 This home has much detail from decoration to moldings to paint colors to landscape outside. Very beautiful and comfortable. Only downfall is the noise from the traffic on the main road that it is located on. We felt welcome and safe!
Comfortable & Spacious
5/5 Large turn of the century home with plenty of modern conveniences. The home has lots of space for relaxing and entertaining, with a nice kitchen & huge private deck. The only thing to watch for is it’s close to an intersection that seems to be heavily traveled by semis, so if you’re a light sleeper, pack earplugs.

The house is within walking distance of the corner store/gas station.
The inside is very spacious. One of the things I most like about vacation rentals are those with minimalist decor, and this one is like that.
There were dressers in each bedroom, and empty closets to hang clothes and layout your stuff. The master closet/bathroom is a dream.
It was VERY clean as well. Sometimes I feel the need to clean when I first arrive to a vacation house, but I did not with this one.
The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, including trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels and tissues. Note the coffee pot uses ground coffee, so don't bother bringing kcups. It's a nice pot with a thermos.
The internet worked very well as I worked remotely most of the week I was there.
The couches in the living room were surprisingly comfortable in spite of their appearance.
All in all, it was a good experience. I will most likely rent this house again the next time we visit.
Beautiful house close to everything.
5/5 The house was beautiful with lots of character and was very comfortable. The private side porch was wonderful. The host was very attentive with texts messages and we had no issues.The upstairs has window AC units in both bedrooms and there is one window AC unit downstairs (but not in the bedroom). The grill works wonderfully and we did plenty of cooking out there. All the appliances worked. The jacuzzi tub in the master suite was nice.We had three cars in the driveway and with a little strategic parking was able to get it setup to where we didn't have to move any other car to get any of them out, so that was nice. Had a group of seven adults and although this advertises "sleeps seven", we had to use an air mattress for our seventh. There's a little spare room off the downstairs bathroom that worked great as a private fourth bedroom for the guy using the air mattress. I'm not really sure why they don't just put a bed in there. There are two queens and a trundle that has a full as the top bed. I'd say the max for adults would be six with no kids and maybe five with two kids. But as long as you know that going in, you're good. We knew we were going to need an air mattress and so we brought it. All good.We would absolutely stay there again even if we had to bring an air mattress again for the seventh.
