  This was hands down THE BEST VRBO we have ever stayed in. The pictures do not do the house or view justice. My family (4 adults, 1 child) stayed here in February for a week of skiing at Heavenly. Everyone had their own bedroom, privacy and space which made it so comfortable and relaxing to unwind at the end of the day. You can tell this is someone’s home with the quality of furniture, linens/towels, appliances, decor and cleanliness. The house had every amenity needed for our stay and the kitchen is the best stocked kitchen in any other VRBO we’ve stayed in. It was easy to cook breakfast and dinner each night. The beds were comfortable, pillows firm, towels soft and we loved turning on the fireplace each evening while eating dinner. There is a cabinet stocked with board games and cards so each night we played family UNO. This is also one of the few VRBOs we’ve been in that actually has cable TV. So we were able to watch the local news for weather updates and CBS morning news each morning before heading out to ski. The neighborhood is quiet but everything like restaurants, Heavenly and grocery store were only 5-15 minutes away. Initially we were trying to stay in South Tahoe closer to Heavenly however the options were limited to smaller condos/townhouses with fewer bedrooms but at the same price. We’re fortunate to have found this cabin away from South Tahoe especially with traffic we sat in late afternoons when we left the ski slopes. We can’t recommend this cabin enough!

• Amazing Lake Tahoe Getaway

  This house was the perfect place for our winter escape to Lake Tahoe. We were there in January but I'm sure it's just as fun in the summer months. Excellent location, just minutes to Heavenly ski resort, Edgewood Resort, Casino, dining and various other activities. We loved cooking in the chef's kitchen. It was fully stocked with all the cookware we needed and the coffee bar was a nice touch. We looked forward to using it each morning. The multiple decks offer amazing views of the lake and surrounding mountains. We looked forward turning the fireplace on in the morning and evening while hanging out in the expansive great room.

  Our kids loved the bunk room on the second level. Cozy master bedroom with very comfortable king size bed. The soaking tub in the master bathroom was just what we needed after a long day of skiing. Second master on ground floor combined with bunk room makes it a great place for multiple families looking to vacation in South Lake Tahoe.

  So many games and activities in the house. We had fun with board games, cards and of course the old school style arcade machine on the ground level.

  We got a lot of snow one night and in the morning there was a snowplow service assigned to the house that made getting out of the driveway possible. No need to shovel ourselves.

  We loved our stay here. Can't wait to come back
