Gemist of Gems!!
5/5 Ok. I was just using the place for two nights during a business trip but the place would be great for anyone that just wants to escape. Situated in the middle of a beautiful valley oasis, it is only minutes from the famous Extraterrestrial Highway. Yes I looked for aliens everywhere but never saw any.
Very clean and complete with everything. I went for two long runs while staying there and rarely saw a car!! And the views everywhere are breathtaking!! Lots of green!!! VERY quiet!! I hated leaving!! I could live there!!!!!!
Everything you need for a comfortable stay
5/5 My husband and I made our way to Hiko because my husband has a small rock art obsession (and there is a LOT out that way, among other sites to see!). We didn't think we'd find something right where we needed AND that allowed dogs AND that was absolutely adorable with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
They are still fixing up the outside and yard - but the inside is updated and wonderful. The King bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and we could relax and watch TV in the evenings.
The views and sunsets/sunrises are stunning and it's on a nice, remote ranch.
