Nice but some downsides
4/5 We enjoyed our stay overall.
Pros: We loved the outdoor space with the river, play set and wild elk grazing in the yard.
The home is spacious with a nice setup and comfortable.
Very conveniently located to the nearby restaurants. But you really can’t walk to anything because there isn’t a sidewalk or safe place to walk.
Cons: The bedrooms with carpet and the entire upstairs has an awful smell of urine. I do not know if the previous owner had pets, but the smell is very strong and they try to cover it up with plug-in fragrance.
Two different guests knocked on our front door to check into the cabins next door. Nobody was at the office to help them and they assumed the owner or manager was at the house rather than realizing we are guests renting too.
The office being attached to the house is awkward. It’s connected to the dining room by a locked door.
