• Great Multifamily Stay

  This home is perfect for multifamily stays!! We stayed here for three days and two nights in late July because we couldn't find a large enough place for 15 people in Taos, NM. Although it was a 45-minute drive back to Taos, we didn't mind as we enjoyed the scenic mountain drive. However, be aware of potential construction that could reduce the road to one lane, causing approximately a 30-minute wait on either side. It’s wise to check on this before booking.

  We appreciated being able to check in a couple of hours early. We got into town after a 5-hour drive and really wanted to freshen up, so it was nice that we didn't have to wait until check in time to do so.

  The house comfortably accommodated all 15 of us, with ample space for both kids and adults to have their own space. Homey amenities like a propane grill and coffee machine made family breakfasts and dinners very convenient. Additionally, a grocery store is just a 3-minute drive away, perfect for picking up any forgotten items. The house was fully furnished with condiments, pots and pans, glassware, and toiletries. The furniture was great, and the bedding was comfortable.

  The kids absolutely loved the downstairs area, especially the video games and Pac-Man arcade game. It’s very family-friendly, and they enjoyed spending the night together in one room. The bunk beds are roomy and comfortable.

  The location was fantastic, offering awesome views and plenty of local activities like farmers markets and live music. The weather can be spotty with evening thunderstorms, so plan accordingly. The house stayed cool in the summer, especially the downstairs area. While the house is large, be mindful that there are many stairs, which might be challenging for little ones.

  Overall, this was a great place for a weekend family getaway. We would definitely come back in the winter and would absolutely book again!

• Great mountain house!

  This was a spacious mountain house! Our party of 12 (8 adults and 4 kids) had a wonderful stay. The way the house is arranged is nice that each floor has their own bedrooms and bathrooms. It made it feel like we each had our own space to retreat to. The deck is awesome and the living room view is also wonderful to look out on during meal times or hanging out. We came for a bike race at Angel Fire resort and the location of this house is super to be able to get down to the base of the resort quickly. Our children also loved playing in the backyard woods. We would for sure visit and stay here again!

• Great location!

  We enjoyed staying at Sharon and Andy’s magnificent house during our ski week. The location to Angel fire lodge is less than 5 minutes. You can even walk. The family room is perfect for hangouts and there is plenty of seating for meals. Several deer visited in the woods near the patio 3 different mornings! We will stay here again.

• Beautiful Cabin for family vacation

  This cabin/lodge is wonderful for a family vacation. The view is fantastic, with all the windows facing the mountains. The decor is nicely done, the game room is a great feature especially for kids. Sleds were provided as well, which was fun for the kids - we found a great sledding hill right down the road that was so fun. We had a group of 16 (9 kids, 7 adults) stay comfortably, the bedrooms were updated to all King beds and also I think an additional daybed with trundle was done. So plenty of beds and space. The location is great as well, less than a mile from the slopes. The owners were so good to work with, very communicative and very helpful with recommendations. I really enjoyed working with them and can tell they take pride in this cabin. The only recommendation I made is the driveway can be slippery getting from vehicles to the entry, I sent that to Andy and he agreed with us and will be addressing that. And I feel confident he is probably working on it today. Overall, a very nice cabin, great owners to work with and ultimately a wonderful vacation! Highly recommend for a large family vacation!
