  House was as described. Kitchen has all the amenities you could need. If you are renting in the winter, you will need an AWD or 4WD vehicle. Host was responsive and helpful. Bedding and towels were nice. We had mule deer 10 feet from the house, which was cool. Would recommend for adult groups, as there are no bunk beds and only 2 twin beds (which our group prefers, so that was a bonus).

  At the time we rented, it was advertised as "New". It is not new, but circa 1980's, with possibly a few new updates. It was also advertised as "NO PETS", which is exactly what I expected. Upon arrival, I saw the fenced in Dog House and found all the feeding pans in the kitchen cabinets. It's NO PETS to renters, but the owners have pets. I DO NOT do pets in the house as every pet owner has a different expectation of hygiene. Granted it was free of pet hair, but I don't do pets as they sneeze a booger here and potty a tad there. Prior to arrival, I attempted for 3 days to call the Property Manager as I wanted to touch base with him in case we had a question or an issue. It wasn't until I sleuthfully found the owners via the County Assessors Tax Search Website did he respond. It was also advertised to have a gas grill, it did not (I fortunately took my own pellet grill). The Advertisement says there's a pool/hot tub...with the insinuation that it's on the property... The Pool is a public pool somewhere in the Resort, I don't do public pee-pools. The Resort told us there is no hot tub. In regards to the pictures, they were taken with a mastery of professionalism giving the appearance that the cabin is nestled in isolation, but for the record, you can throw a rock and hit about 3-4 houses in the near vicinity......... All in all, it's an average place, and once the Advertising is adjusted to reflect the same, your expectations will be met. I've rented vrbo's from Italy to Barbados, and from now on, I will verify that NO PETS, means NO PETS. And that NEW means 'built recently in 201X', not new to the rental market. I tend to rent Newly built as it has less issues, lees risk of mold, less risk of wear and tear, etc.

  -The "New" on the listing refers to it being a recent addition to the website, not a new property. We're sorry if this caught you off guard.
  -We do advertise a pool and hot tub, but these are all located at the resort. We will change our listing to portray these more accurately.
  -The right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed this wasn't the one for your group.
