    Our time at this cottage was idyllic. The cottage, though small, is decently equipped for a comfortable stay. We spent many hours on the various decks enjoying the serenity of the NH forest and river, listening to the sounds of birds, frogs, fish, and small animals as well as the wind, and rain. The call of the common loon was a special treat. The cottage comes as advertised; it is not suitable for small children or people who cannot easily navigate stairs while hauling luggage. Also, the main floor gets very hot on hot days with no AC available; however, the lower level stays comfortable.Overall, wonderful stay.

    Quiet and beautiful spot. Owner was very accommodating. The fishing was excellent. All largemouth and smallmouth bass. House is well set up. W spent a lot if tume on the large indoor screened porch

  • worst trip of our life ( I'am 77 )

    There is no AC . Fans just blow hot moist air around. This unit NEEDS a dehumidifier !! It is in the woods and . There is no TV The internet is not a good substitute for TV !!!.the 2nd bedroom downstairs has no fan no air circulation.the window does not have a screen in . This bedroom is very close to having mold problems. The deck is not fully screened in ! there needs to be either a carpet or screening under the floor !

    This cabin needs a dehumidifier !!!. NO TV the internet is not the solution . Fans just blow hot moist air down . There is No AC . the downstairs bedroom has a window with no screen . No fan no AC It was like sleeping in damp closet ! The porch is not completely screened in , it needs either a rug or sreening under the deck
