Family Vacation
3/5 Great proximity to Funspot and Weirs Beach. The listing was not clear that it is a part of Sun Valley Cottages. The facilities and around the house were not maintained. Overgrown grass and weeds throughout the facility and on the cottage property. The outside Jacuzzi was not working and half filled with green rain water. The pool was too full and had dirt at the bottom. The pool patio area was rundown. The cottage was cozy, the beds were comfortable, water was hot, and the AC cooled the whole cottage nicely. There was no gas grill as advertised, just a very small charcoal grill. The wifi was spotty. The room with the bunk beds had two windows. One had a missing screen. The other had a screen partially popped off with a huge spider and web. The windows couldn't be opened. There were large wet spots on the living room carpeting for our whole stay. It never dried up. We had a good family vacation in the Lakes Region but would not stay here again.

Gulford house cabin
3/5 The cabin was cute but run down. The screen door was broken and my hand could fit in the gap under the front door caused by, I'm assuming, the soft squishy wood under it. Definitely didn't feel sturdy. The pool was dirty and so cloudy you couldn't see to the bottom. The hot tub was not in order and absolutely disgusting. The oven didn't work and there were ants all over inside. The ladder to the bunk bed was broken and the whole thing was incredibly unsteady. Overall at the price point I wasn't happy with my stay. I would not stay again, as the unusable pool was the selling point for me. Our family of 8 did fit comfortably and it was a good location, lots of stuff to do close by.
