Nice Place
4/5 Nice place, equipped well, good central location to mountains and etc. Nice country store near by. Pictures are accurate. Bedroom space narrow. Nice bathroom and kitchen. No stairs, flat entry. Heat good, could be more centrally located. Nice personal heater provided.
A wonderful, cozy place to stay
5/5 We stayed here for a week and this cute listing had everything we needed. The host was so sweet to work with as well. They did an amazing job converting a smaller space into a nice apartment. Very quiet and in a beautiful area. There is a little local country store just down the street that has all kinds of food and items you may need. When we get back to the area, we would definitely stay again!
Great Owner Relations!
5/5 We arrived late to our unit and found a major problem. I will say that the Property Manager, Becky was extremely responsive and arrived onsite within a few minutes, despite the midnight hour approaching. She was in immediate contact with the owner and the property manager worked for approximately 2 and 1/2 hours to resolve the issues. The issues were circumstantial in nature and truly not an error on the manager or even the owner's. The owner was very involved and made sure that he had done everything possible to correct the situation. He went above and beyond. This unit is very easy access- all on one level with all the necessary things for a couple. We didn't want to cook, so the mini kitchen was perfect with a medium sized refrigerator and a 2 burner hot plate. I noticed that there were sufficient pots/pans to use should you want to cook a small meal. Also, I noticed there was a Ninji-pot type cooker that would be perfect for a one dish meal. Property manager was very responsive and was super helpful throughout our stay.
Calm and Cozy Done Right
5/5 Overall, we had a really great stay. Conveniently located, but removed from the traffic of nearby Boone. Reaching Beech Mountain was relatively easy and we found a few ways to get there during our stay. Well worth the visit and happy to visit again soon! Thank you for hosting us.
