Wonderful stay in Tuckasegee
5/5 We had a lovely time in the mountains for Memorial Day weekend. The house was fantastic-super clean and well appointed for our stay. We loved the screened in porch and listening to the creek below. The firepit was an added bonus and the owners had everything needed for it. The drive to the lake club takes about 15-20 minutes and look out for bears! We saw a big black bear on the first night on the way to the lake club. We cooked in two nights and ate at the lake club one night. The activities on the lake are varied and there is something for everyone. We drove to Cashiers and did the Foothills trail loop hike (5 miles) and saw some gorgeous waterfalls. This stay was perfect for us....time away in a relaxing spot to make memories and relax. We highly recommend and hope to come back!
