Beautiful Home in Black Bear Territory!
5/5 We had a wonderful 3 night's stay in what was one of the most beautiful homes we've ever rented. Even the 24 hours of rain from Hurricane Ian didn't "damper" this visit to Eastern NC. And yes; we did see one medium sized Black Bear during a late day touring of the area. Wonderful!!

Amazing home
5/5 So staying at 175 McDaniel was an amazing vacation! We spent two weeks there. I left the two days ago. And I do miss it. House is huge, high tech lighting and climate controls in each room. Huge kitchen open to an amazing Family Room.
The property is 20 acres and pond has some big fish in it. The property manager was Amazing. She is so sweet! She took care of any of our concerns Immediately.
In all the reviews the only thing people have complained about is the Wi-Fi service. We too found it that way, but we figured out that once in a while you have to reset the mesh router system, which is pretty simple to do. So once we figured out the solution, didn’t have any problems.
Now location. It’s a bit out of town. Quiet!
New Bern is 20 minutes away for shopping and Dinner. And Kingston is 15 minutes the other direction.
Only one hour from the Atlantic. Beaches everywhere. Owe and the people of North Carolina are the nicest anywhere in the United States! I highly recommend staying here! Thanks to the property manager!
Wonderful Respite
5/5 A few days away with great friends in the perfect setting. The house is beautiful, well appointed with everything we needed . The property manager was in top of everything (not that we had issues) and available to answer questions. Can’t wait to return to this beautiful property!
