The BEST of the BEST!
5/5 If you are looking for a villa where the entire family can have fun, than look no further. This villa was carefully curated for comfort, design, and is absolutely family friendly.
If you want something remote-this is it. If you want something family friendly-this is it. If you want a solo trip or a shared trip with another family-this is it!
The outdoor activities are what really sealed the deal for our vacation. Hiking, kayaking, jacuzzi, fire pits, and amazing outdoor swings and couches to enjoy Nantahala Lake.
Major cities are close enough by that you can take a day trip, but we just stayed in and did local activities.
Craig and Andrea were amazing hosts! We look forward to visiting again.

5/5 Very clean house, great spot close to the marina with fantastic views across the lake! Lots to keep those of all ages busy, from board games to watercraft. We're looking forward to coming back!
Fantastic View
5/5 What a beautiful house! Loved being on the lake with great views of mountains and water! The house was plenty of room for 9 adults and 1 toddler. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and of course, hanging out on the dock! The gravel road on the way to the house was a bit scary but worth it! Fabulous vacation!
Great time at "Encore on Nantahala"
5/5 Our family just finished a wonderful week at "Encore on Nantahala." This brand new home is beautiful and the views are spectacular! The home is decorated lovely and is well equipped. The kids took full advantage of the ping pong table and hot tub. Having a home on the the water with a dock made the boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing memorable. We all agreed that "Encore on Nantahala" will be on our list for future vacations.

5/5 I hesitate to write a review because I want this to be our family’s secret spot. This place is absolute perfection! The amazing house and breathtaking views would have been enough, but the many amenities and activities in the area begged us to stay active. We’d take the kayaks out for fishing and sightseeing, then relax our tired muscles in the hot tub. On a rainy day, we snuggled around the fire pit with blankets and read books on the spectacular covered porch. Nearby hiking trails, islands to explore, the sounds of nature, designated space for the kids, and an extremely kind and responsive host round this place out. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed with this rental. Already planning to book again this summer to go whitewater rafting and fly fishing. Thank you for introducing us to our new happy place.
