If your looking for a secluded cozy home with mountain view,a nice running downhill(mini waterfalls) creek this is it. The creek was running fast and peacefully loud to where you think it's raining. Nice firepit next to the creek to roast marshmallows and my 15 year old daughter& myself hiked up some of the bluff on the other side of the creek. The house was charming and was perfect for three of us. If you have 4 wheel or AWD the drive from gate will be no problem. There are three or four holes right near gate entrance on the upslope that need to be filled. If it's raining like it was when we arrived, you better plan on hitting the accelerator and bouncing through or you won't get up the slope. No rain, not bad-but holes are there. Overall I recommend this cabin and very much enjoyed our stay!

Very nice, clean house on quiet, private road. The creek was great, everything was clean and the hosts were responsive. Thank you!

My wife and I were celebrating our 24th anniversary. This place was so beautiful and relaxing. The sounds of the creek and the nature were so nice. We felt so secluded yet it was so conveniently located. You will not be disappointed by staying here.

First and foremost, the cabin is absolutely beautiful and everything it shows in the pictures is accurate. The kitchen is well stocked, the cabin is newer (or at least extremely well kept up), and the internet was the best we've had in a cabin. We had a problem with the plumbing and it was promptly fixed.
There are a few things I want to point out though, that folks might not think about.
1. It's recommended you have 4-wheel drive during the winter. I HIGHLY recommend you have 4-wheel drive anytime of the year. We have a 2015 Honda Odyssey and it took us 6-tries to get up the hill to the cabin the first time. Our tires just kept spinning. We honestly didn't think we would make it up. After a 10-hour drive, we just wanted to unpack and unwind and we worried we wouldn't be able to. Eventually we made it, but had to get a "running start" from outside of the gate (you will understand if you book this cabin) which didn't feel safe while going up a steep/narrow mountain road. My in-laws have a 2021 Honda CRV and had no issues making it up. However, because we struggled driving our van up, I personally would not consider renting this cabin again.
2. The fire pit and creek area are A LOT nicer than they appear in pictures. Pictures cannot possibly do the area justice, it was wonderful! That said, if anyone in your party has mobility issues, they may not be able to make it down or up. The path is steep and filled with small rocks which tend to cause slippage when you're walking. Not a problem for me, but some folks might have issues and should consider it.
3. The main bedroom upstairs (with the king-size bed) has glass doors which do not allow for any type of privacy. We have 4-young kids and need to be able to "hide" from them for "adult time." We were not able to do so the entire trip so keep that in mind. The bedroom downstairs (parking level) has the smaller bed and does not have clear doors. If you're renting the cabin, I recommend you keep this in mind too.
From the owner: "Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such great feedback, Marcos! I agree, the pictures do not do the creek area justice as it's all very hard to capture in a photo. HOA is currently working on a solution so that the driveway to our area will be an easier drive for everyone. So glad you enjoyed your stay!"
This was a beautiful, secluded, creekside retreat! We appreciated every moment of the stay. The cabin was clean and fully stocked. Thank you again!
From The Owner: "Thank you for taking the time to share your review, Mark! Happy to have you stay. So glad you enjoyed. Keep us in mind for any future visits to the area!"
