The house is very clean. Johnny even provided a bottle of sparkling artisan blood orange instead of wine when he found out that we didn't drink wine. Nice surprise. Loved our stay.

  This was a very amazing trip!!! As others have said Johny was so great to communicate with before the journey and the place was very nice and clean. The drive wasn't as bad as I thought it would be up the mountain.... the view was totally worth it. Very peaceful and relaxing!!! Will definitely go again!! Thank you Johny and Lise!!!❤️

• Just what we needed...

  This small country cabin is just what we needed for an adult getaway. The views are absolutely stunning and waking up there everyday was like a dream. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. It is located about 5.5 miles off the main road. 1.5 miles of the road is a one lane mountain road up to the top of the mountain which is a gravel/concrete road. It is absolutely worth the drive. Our host Johnny called us before our arrival to give accurate directions and to make sure we would have everything we needed for our stay. The closest grocery is 15-20 miles away so make sure you pack in everything you need when you go in and make a list for the times you do go to town to pick up what you forgot. The location is secluded enough to be away from it all but also close enough for waterfall tours and The Great Smokey Mountain National Park/Railroad. I would recommend checking the weather before you go and if calling for rain take indoor games/activities/movies. They do have a few games on hand, bowling alley about 30 minutes away and escape rooms. We will definitely be back.

• Exceeding Expectations!

  Our family of 4 spent a magical week in Sylva, N.C. with Peaceful Mountain Hideaway exceeding our expectations in many ways! A 4-wheel drive is a must to master the steep incline, but once you reach the top, the view is breathtaking and the cottage itself is as crisp and clean as the mountain air! The layout of bedrooms and common areas separated by a bathroom suited our close family well as our boys had their own door out to the porch and fire pit. Johny is an approachable and available host who makes the comfort of his guests a top priority. Great vacation for us!
